Musical Identity

The world is becoming ever more multicultural, and in Asia, influences from other parts of the globe can be found in everything from politics to pop culture. Two brothers from Macau have taken the definition of “global citizen” to the next level, and by doing so, they've carved out a unique identity of their own. Barnaby Lo had a chance to sit down with the brothers, a musical duo known as Soler, in Hong Kong.

No Holds Barred

In Japan, 98.5% of the population is ethnic Japanese, so anyone who is different clearly stands out. Liu Zhaochu met one woman who faced a tough upbringing because of her 'different' appearance - but in adulthood, she's making that unique identity work...and she has a lot of fans.

All over the world, there are stories of people with physical disabilities who prove themselves beyond their limitations. Assignment Asia met a woman in China who is one such case; she has refused to let her inability to see stop her from becoming one of the most sought-after people in her profession. Here’s her story, in her own words.
