Lebanon is one the most contaminated countries in the world when it comes to cluster munitions. All around, unexploded bombs and mines are buried underground, left over from past conflicts. Thousands of people have been killed and maimed by them. Natalie Carney travelled around southern Lebanon to further investigate the problem, and met one group that’s not letting tragedy stop them.

It’s proven to be a dangerous mission, but that isn’t stopping them from trying to achieve their goal. Maeva Bambuck travelled to the Afghan-Pakistan border to see them in action.

India Acid Attack

It only takes a moment for someone’s life to change forever. And for hundreds – if not thousands – of women in India, that moment came so unexpectedly... and literally scarred them for the rest of their lives. As Karishma Vyas reports, victims and advocates are fighting for better laws and harsher sentences against those who carry out these vicious attacks.
