Forest Protectors

The forests of north eastern Thailand are in danger. Fifty years of illegal hunting has pushed many endangered species to the brink of extinction. More recently illegal wood poaching has caused mass deforestation. With millions of dollars at stake, the hunters and poachers are using violence to force anyone out of the forest who challenges them. But one group of rangers has decided to take them on. Tony Cheng went on patrol with them in Pang Cida National Park.
